History feels more real and accessible when you're in the same place where it took place.

creative strategy:

Empower local runners and city-goers by showing them that famous athletes trained in the same places.

This "Look Who's Here Now" campaign would start by talking to famous athletes to learn where they trained during pivotal moments of their lives and careers. Nike would then rent spaces along those trails to create pop-up shops and mark the athlete's paths with footprints (of Nike shoes, of course). This would provide encouragement to joggers who run those trails and pique the interest of other passerbys, attracting them to the shops.
